The MA Creative Entrepreneurship at LCCM is an intensive 12-month postgraduate programme designed to support creative individuals in developing, refining, and launching new business ventures within the creative industries. The course integrates practical entrepreneurship training with academic research to help students transform creative ideas into viable commercial opportunities.
Students begin the programme by conducting market research and testing ideas within their chosen creative field through the Research and Academic Practice and Iteration and Testing modules. These initial stages focus on developing analytical, strategic, and reflective thinking to build a solid foundation for future business success.
In the second term, students will build upon their research by producing professional business planning and pitching documents, exploring case studies on entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation within the creative sector. The programme culminates with a Major Project, allowing students to apply their learning through a real-world business venture, product launch, or entrepreneurial initiative.

Applicants who do not meet formal academic entry criteria may apply through the Work Route. This route recognises relevant professional experience in the field, or related industries as an alternative pathway into higher education. Some exceptions may apply for applicants with professional experience in other fields. This entry route ensures that motivated and experienced candidates can progress academically and professionally.
If English is not the first language, applicants must complete an approved free English language test that assesses reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Equivalent qualifications may also be accepted.
All applicants are required to attend an interview with a member of the admissions team as part of the selection process.
Assessment is designed to nurture creativity while developing entrepreneurial and business acumen. Rather than relying on traditional written exams, students are evaluated through project-based and practice-focused work. Assessment methods include:

The Tuition Fee of the course may vary depending on the institution you wish to study at, as well as your status in the UK. The course is available for UK/EU & International Students and eligible for Student Loans Company (SLC) funding to help cover the cost of your tuition fees and other expenses.
