With a global perspective, this course gives a strong background in both operational and strategic travel and tourism fundamentals. The emphasis is on acquiring the practical abilities required for a variety of managerial jobs in the sector. You will investigate significant industry concerns and challenges, with a focus on tourism production and consumption, sustainability and ethics, globalisation and intercultural elements, and the role of travel and tourism in addressing these issues. The goal of this International Travel and Tourism Management course is to prepare students to be professional, self-reflective individuals capable of meeting the demands of employers in the travel and tourism industry while also adapting to a constantly changing world. Applicants who do not meet formal academic entry criteria may apply through the Work Route. This route recognises relevant professional experience in the field, or related industries as an alternative pathway into higher education. Some exceptions may apply for applicants with professional experience in other fields. This entry route ensures that motivated and experienced candidates can progress academically and professionally.
If English is not the first language, applicants must complete an approved free English language test that assesses reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Equivalent qualifications may also be accepted.
